Finish your pintxo crawl through Old Town at La Viña. Opened in 1959 by Eladio Rivera and Carmen Jiménez, this institution is now run by their son Santiago Rivera. You’ll be lining up for their famous burnt Basque cheese cream cake. It’s the stuff of legends and perfect with a glass of Pedro Ximenez. Get there early and go every night. I’m still dreaming of this a year on.
🍩🍩 | PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY CRONUTS
Now tell me, if this gorgeous mess was staring you in the face wouldn't you want to buy two? The very thought of having to share even a morsel of my Peanut butter and jelly cronut was making me sad. Marnee is the vivacious babe behind Sugar & Nice and she is my go to for anything baked, sweet and delicious in this town.

The Classroom
Seeking higher education on a Wednesday night is easy in North Perth. At The Classroom my friend Ai-Ling aka the Blue Apocalypse and I learnt how to drink midweek cocktails and smash up peanut brittle.
Ganache
Hugo’s Patisserie – Chocolate Ganache tartlet from Urban Locavore's August box.
Figs
Such a quick and easy dessert. Get yourself a bundle of fresh figs. Cut off the stems and slit a cross in the top. Gently push sides to open. Slit a vanilla bean in half and scrape out all that goodness. Mix with mascarpone cheese. Put dollop of vanilla mascarpone on top of each fig and drizzle with a good fortified wine. I used Lancaster Wines Sticky Shiraz. Mmmmm ... enjoy.
Rochelle Adonis dessert degustation
My beautiful friend Holly has such a sweet tooth so for her 30th birthday I treated her to a dessert degustation at Rochelle Adonis. So on a lovely Saturday night we took a few bottles of champagne and indulged in the sweet, sugary and surprisingly savoury dessert degustation. It was truly a gorgeous experience and I would highly recommend you gather up the girls lots of bubbles and book a table.
Rochelle Adonis
I love Sundays with my mummy. She works so hard and its her day off so we often try and go somewhere spesh for something yum. Rochelle Adonis seemed the perfect choice. Visiting her chic yet homely studio actually makes me want to be a better person. I want to buy a floral apron and bake pretty things.
Find a delightful studio dedicated to pure indulgence and gorgeous little moments of deliciousness. http://www.rochelleadonis.com/
